If a furnace is functioning properly, we don't suggest that you replace it, unless your aim is to increase efficiency. However, if your furnace is over 16 years old, and is having problems, our recommendation would be to replace it, for you have reached the end of its life expectancy.
There are a few different types of furnace classifications:
95% Furnace – These type of furnaces have the potential of using 95% of its heat to heat the house or building. The other 5% is lost through its exhaust system.
